This is no boot-n-shoot, it’s South Carolina quail hunting the way it used to be.

Wild, supplemented, and early release quail on our managed program make for explosive covey rises.

Our pointers and setters run big or hunt close given the conditions. Harvesting a bird is often secondary to experiencing a great bird dog doing great work, and nothing beats watching our English Cockers hunt much bigger than their size by flushing and retrieving the game.

Guides are there for your entertainment, enjoyment and safety. Safety being primary as the other two follow. Your custom hunt can be plantation style with mule-drawn wagons or off one of our custom Polaris’.

Morning, afternoon, or all-day quail hunts can be arranged. Morning hunts embark by 9am and complete around noon.

Afternoon hunts begin at 2pm and leave the field around 5pm.

Use of over/under or side by side guns are preferred, twenty gauge or less is required. Our dogs will thank you for their hearing and our guides will thank you for not having to count past four.

25 bird wagon limit per half-day hunt.

Memberships Available.

When they’re here, you need to be here!

Our all-inclusive packages are the hunts dreams are made of.

After our Southern Breakfast is served, you and your party will join with your guide, his scout, and mule driver for hunting the way few will ever get to experience - on your private quail plantation. During our morning and afternoon hunts, your party will be transported by mule-drawn wagon in the grand southern tradition. But don’t get too comfortable, you are going to be going to the point…. a lot.

Your hunt courses will be exclusive to your party. In fact, no other hunting parties will be present during your stay. Our aim is to have you feel that during your time here, you own the place. Following lunch, your party will re-mount and shoot a completely different, virgin course.

While your birds are being cleaned and packed, refreshments are served on the porch to catch the last rays of a glorious sunset. After cocktails, your private dinner is served either outside or in our stately formal dining room. After dinner, there is plenty of time to enjoy a cigar on the porch or play a friendly card game in our game room. Or, just do some star gazing and get ready for tomorrow.
