The 1870’s plantation house has been immaculately restored into our Main Lodge.
Features include large porches, a copper roof, hardwood floors, several fireplaces, modern kitchen, cypress molding, ceilings and panels, and a remarkable oval entrance hall. The dining room mural was painted by Jennifer Rempel of Pittsburg in 1994 and contains only wildlife and flora indigenous to Woodside. A fire pit and pool fed by clear, artesian spring water sit in the side yard, perfect for entertaining.
The Main Lodge can host parties of up to ten people, with additional accommodations in the Pond House, Turkey Creek Cabin, and neighboring estates for larger groups. The property boasts multiple locations for cooking, entertaining and meeting spaces.
Woodside offers all-inclusive lodging packages, as well as the option to rent the entire property for private use. Please inquire for further details and pricing based on group size.
Main Lodge
Built in 1871, the mansion is a throwback to plantation days and has been lovingly renovated with all the modern conveniences. With five large bedrooms, the home can accommodate groups of up to ten hunting and non-shooting guests.
The lodge is a perfect venue for family gatherings, wedding parties, lifestyle photoshoots, and long weekends with friends seeking the ultimate Southern escape.
The Pond House Cottage
was recently renovated from the former Manager’s quarters.
The Pond House
The Pond House is a private, light-filled cottage with large windows and a handsome porch overlooking the pond. It sits steps from the outdoor kitchen and fire pit, a perfect location for small gatherings, bocce games on the lawn, or cozy evenings to yourself. The cottage can accommodate up to four guests with one king bed and a pull out couch. Guests can enjoy their morning coffee on the porch, drop a line or launch a boat into the pond, and meander down to the flower fields.
Turkey Creek Cabin
The southern portion of the plantation covers 505 acres and is called Turkey Creek. This is a major hunting area and abounds with deer, wild boar and turkeys. The Turkey Creek Cabin is located in scenic woodlands by a pond. Only a short distance away is a beautiful floodable duck impoundment. Game patches and deer stands are located all around the Turkey Creek tract.
Turkey Creek Cabin
The Turkey Creek Cabin is located on 500 acres of premium deer and turkey hunting. It echoes the hunting camps of the past with modern amenities and a porch overlooking a private pond stocked with bass.
A cleaning station with walk-in coolers completes the ideal set-up for your hunting weekend.
